Woahnows Press ShotsPlymouth indie-punk trio WOAHNOWS are ready to serve up the first slice of pop infused punk from their debut album in the form of latest single ‘Watching Accidents’ set for release on 10th March via Big Scary Monsters.

The band are currently out on an extensive European tour with friends in Cornish punks BANGERS this month and will be supporting GNARWOLVES in the UK in March (full dates below).

They’ve just premiered the excellent new video for ‘Watching Accidents’ with ABSOLUTEPUNK, check it out here complete with skateboarding dogs:

The track will also be available to download FREE for a limited time from the WOAHNOWS bandcamp here: https://woahnows.bandcamp.com/track/watching-accidents

Describing themselves as “indie-punk with a short attention span” the single is the perfect bouncing, major key introduction to the good-times soundtracks that WOAHNOWS consistently produce – this is the sound of three friends just trying to make their point in the best possible sounding way, and if that happens to involve a few beer-soaked basement gigs along the way, then the more the merrier. As we’re all longing for that sun-soaked summer that’s just around the corner, ‘Watching Accidents’ is the perfect antidote for those creeping winter blues.

The band’s debut release, ‘The Joy Disorder’ EP, was 5 tracks of rough and ready brilliance that clocked in at just under 15 minutes, and offered a taster of what can be expected from their forthcoming debut album. Think Against Me! meets Japandroids and Les Savy Fav, with Dananananaykroyd-esque guitarwork and gang vocals packed full of hooks and earworms.

New single ‘Watching Accidents’ is released 10th March 2014 via Big Scary Monsters Records.
