ROB MOIR RELEASES NEW VIDEO FOR “PLACES TO DIE” TRACK COLD

EMBARKS ON SECOND EUROPEAN TOUR OF 2013

In April 2013, Toronto’s punk-poet Rob Moir released his sophomore album Places To Die(Underground Operations/Universal). Rob followed the release with a tour in Europe, a trip that lasted over four months and saw Rob play almost 120 shows in almost as many days in 12 different countries across Europe and in Australia and the UK.

Shot last winter in beautiful Québec City by A City By The River – this is one of the strongest songs I’ve ever written” said Rob. “The haunting images of a deep snow fall and playing an empty bar; fit perfectly with the song’s lyric of “on the twisted dark road that I confuse with home.”

The Fear” Rob’s previous video released earlier this year and shot by Grandson & Son was premiered by Rolling Stone Europe and AUX TV in Canada. Rob is currently back in Europe for his second tour of the year. A tour poster highlighting the dates is included here.

Rob was recently quoted in HERE Magazine last month as he toured Eastern Canada, of Places To Die; “This one has more to do with an overall feeling about mygeneration’s interest in stuff, possessions, and careers, over real experiences. And I just kind of let it all out as far as the honesty level is concerned.”
