The Narrows have been hard at work behind the scenes and the first taste of their new material hit our ears in the form of a teaser video we shared for upcoming single Saviour, which will be released on October 31st and has already received airplay by Gill Mills on Amazing Radio.

Now we can unveil the new video-

Since exploding onto the underground Manchester music scene in 2011, The Narrows have been tearing apart the rule book and forging their own dark, uncompromising way. Mixing epic, enveloping rock with dark, brooding electronica, The Narrows are that rare commodity in today’s music scene, a band that have something to say; a fierce, uncompromising message amidst a sea of bands too full of detached irony and clichés to notice that the world is on the edge of a precipice.

Since then, they have caught the attention of Zane Lowe, BBC 6 Music, XFM, John Kennedy, Tom Robinson, Absolute Radio, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. They played T IN THE PARK in 2011, were interviewed for BBC 6 Music and set alight venues across the country, including the O2 Academy2 in London. In addition to supporting the likes of Mute Records’ S.C.U.M and Warp Records’ PVT, they also performed at the HMV Next Big Thing Festival in 2012.

The Narrows released their debut album – The Eve of Invasion – on June 4th 2012 through Cognitive Dissonance Records. The album has received rave reviews from This Is Fake DIY, The 405, Echoes and Dust and The Manc Review, among others and placed strongly in many 2012 end of year polls. It is an album of dramatic scale and scope – an exploration of paranoia, destruction and the influence of corrupt authority in a dark, troubled modern world. Its sounds range from seething electronica and haunting melancholia to shattering rock and “Berlin-period Bowie” (Drowned In Sound).
