The Narrows release Cold Copy single on 4th March‏

“Cold Copy itself is a track that clearly displays the band’s true talent in the electro area of their music.” – Music From Rainy Skies

Cold Copy will be the final single from The Narrows’ debut album, The Eve Of Invasion before the band dazzle us with exhilarating new material. We’ll be in touch in a couple of weeks with the music video for Cold Copy, so keep your eyes peeled!

The Narrows make epic-sounding, dark, enveloping electronic pop music with loud guitars.

Their recent single releases have been played and supported by BBC 6 Music, Zane Lowe, Tom Robinson, XFM, John Kennedy, Absolute Radio, Amazing Radio, DIY Radio and BBC Introducing. In 2011 they played T In The Park and featured on the 2011 line-up for HMV’s Next Big Thing Festival.

The Narrows released their debut album – The Eve of Invasion – on July 4th 2012. The album has received rave reviews from This Is Fake DIY, The 405, Echoes and Dust and The Manc Review, among others and placed strongly in many 2012 end of year polls. The album is available on 12″ vinyl through Cognitive Dissonance Records. It is an album of dramatic scale and scope – an exploration of paranoia, destruction and the influence of corrupt authority in a dark, troubled modern world. It’s sounds range from seething electronica, shattering rock and haunting melancholia.
