Mothlite the brainchild of London renaissance man, prolific composer and multi-instrumentalist Daniel O’Sullivan, whose whose other incarnations and affinities include Ulver, Miracle, Æthenor, Grumbling Fur, Miasma & The Carousel of Headless Horses, Guapo, The Big Pink and Sunn O))), will play Birthdays in Dalston, London on 4th December to conclude their Dark Age Europa MMXII tour.
Recalling the pop deviations of Talk Talk, Brian Eno and Cocteau Twins fused with psychedelic modern composition and fusing it with an innovative, forward-thinking approach to programming and sound design, Mothlite transcend any obvious reference point and follow a most novel path of paradoxes. Love, death, death of love, self-loathing, megalomania. All dipped in a thick treacly molasses of ecstatic melody.
Mothlite will tour Europe in support of their critically acclaimed 2012 album Dark Age.
