Les Jupes unveil video for ‘Myth #7 (Honor)’
Since releasing their debut album ‘Modern Myths’ in their native Canada and the US in 2011, Winnipeg’s Les Jupes have been touring all over North America and Europe, winning over new converts one person at a time. The album saw a UK release late August and the band are now ready to unveil the psychotropic video for their track ‘Myth #7 (Honor), which is also available as a free download from their Soundcloud page.
After a summer festival tour in Germany and an introductory UK tour, Les Jupes are capped off a successful year and a half of touring ‘Modern Myths’ with showcases at Pop Montreal Festival.
‘Modern Myths’ has now seen a full European release, following tours supporting Polaris nominees Handsome Furs and Sweden’s Baskery. The band also showcased at SXSW, Reeperbahn, MIDEM, CMW, NXNE, Sled Island, Halifax Pop, as well as Pop Montreal.
The Pop Montreal shows were the final performances of songs from ‘Modern Myths’. Les Jupes will be spending the rest of the year writing and recording their follow-up album, and will once again be working with Arcade Fire, Stars, Kronos Quartet engineer Marcus Paquin.
