Japandroids Announce World Tour + New Video

August 15, 2012

Vancouver duo Japandroids have announced they’ll kick off four straight months of touring, beginning tonight (14th August) at Portugal’s Paredes De Coura Festival and coming to Ireland for shows in Dublin and Belfast, then UK festivals Summer Sundae and Green Man. In addition to the already announced European dates, the band has just added shows in October, with stops in Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Greece and whilst in the UK London’s Heaven on the 26th Oct, finishing up at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris. The band will then follow up their June/July sold out North American tour with headlining dates beginning after their November 1st performance at Fun Fun Fest in Austin.

Also Japandroids debut their first music video exclusively at Pitchfork x Youtube for their single ‘The House That Heaven Built’. The video finds director Jim Larson traveling with the band on their last tour, filming at sold out shows in Toronto, Montreal, Boston, NYC, Brooklyn, DC and their life on the road in between.

We featured the video earlier in the week but you can see it again here:
