Rad Releases ’11- Seven Nines and Tens

December 20, 2011
As the countdown to the end of the year approaches we take a personal look back on our familiar names, features and musicians’ top releases of the past 12 months.

This year has stood out for incredible releases and even more so for uncovering exceptional talent; most of which discovered, promoted and featured right on this site.
Continuing our feature is our favourite Vancouver band Seven Nines and Tens.

Speaking with Dave Cotton, friend and familar name at Circuit Sweet. This year has been another big and rewarding 12 months for vancouver based band Seven Nines and Tens. Having released demos, singles and earlier this month the release of their new 11 track album ‘Habitat 67’. You can listen to the album streaming below or revisit their album feature here.

The long awaited debut 11 track album from Vancouver, BC, Canada based trio Seven Nines and Tens. Produced by Seven Nines and Tens and Hayz Fisher at the Dead Room and Factory studios November 2010 – November 2011.  Mastered by Adam Veenendaal.
The band now have merch and as we’ve ordered ours here is the link to view and represent SNaT.

2. Junius – Reports From the Threshold of Death

3. Tombs – Path of Totality

A monster of a record!

4. City of Ships – Minor World
Swervedriver meets Cave In meets Hum

5. East of the Wall – The Apologist

Seven Nines and Tens 2012  Plans:

Seven Nines and Tens will be recording album #2 in the summer. We’ve been waist deep in new songs since the fall. I’ve been demoing a couple of them over the last couple of days, sounds lovely thus far. In the meantime we’ll be taking album #1 “Habitat 67” on the road. Also, hopefully we’ll get someone to put out the vinyl version of “Habitat 67” for us.

Thank You Dave and Seven Nines and Tens’ and we can only wish you our support and good luck for next year, always a pleasure dealing with this great band!
