MYSTERY JETS ‘Dreaming of Another World’ released on 5th July, taken from the forthcoming album ‘Serotonin’.
MAPS AND ATLASES- The band spent the majority of 2009 writing and recording songs for their long-awaited full-length album. In March 2010 the band signed with Barsuk Records, who will release their debut album entitled “Perch Patchwork” on June 29, 2010.
DARWIN DEEZ– Although the band’s self-titled debut album, Darwin Deez, was released on 12th April 2010 in both the UK and the U.S- this will be in my summer soundtrack, its so happy!
THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM- Last Year their previous album The 59′ Sound made my summer this year theyre back again. The start of 2010 saw The Gaslight Anthem entering the studio once again with producer Ted Hutt, to begin recording their second album for SideOneDummy Records, American Slang, is due to be released on June 14th 2010 in the UK and June 15th 2010 in the USA.
Last but by no means least THE BLACK KEYS- Taken from the incredible new album “Brothers” which was released May 18th. Summer time longs for Black keys.
Of course the list goes on and more new releases will be hitting my earz but right now these bands and tracks are making these light hot evenings worth it.
