AMARAL – Launch new video for the song “La Niebla” from the upcoming ‘Nocturnal’ & ‘Nocturnal Solar Sessions’ release; European Tour approaching
Amaral, the biggest Spanish alternative-rock band of the last two decades, is proud to present a new video for the song “La Niebla”, which you can watch here:
The song has been taken from the band’s upcoming European release of ‘Nocturnal’, that will be available on January 27th.
The video for “La Niebla” (meaning “The Fog” in Spanish), was directed by Holy Cuervo’s creative team, who has also made videos for bands like Angelus Apatrida and Lizzies, and is inspired by the band’s hometown, Zaragoza, largely known for being one of Spain’s coldest towns.
“’The Fog’ evokes the winter days in our hometown. A city defined by the river that crosses it and where the fog normally makes it pretty tough to see in the distance. The image of the shadows that it creates was what inspired this song. It pretends to be optimistic, the overall message says that everything that blinds your vision should pass.”
The song is taken from the second disc of the two included in this release. The first one is ‘Nocturnal’, the album as it was recorded and released in Spain in 2015 and that has been in the charts ever since. The second disc is called ‘Nocturnal Solar Sessions’ and features the new versions of the same songs, recorded with a completely different approach; more intimate and luminous.
Overall, the album will include 23 songs full of beautiful spectral melodies, outstanding epic movements and the amazing voice of Eva, undoubtedly one of the best Spanish female singers ever.
