SHARE NEW SINGLE ‘PLAIN VIEW’ OUT 11TH NOVEMBER VIA TINY HITS
The duo are set to play three London shows in the upcoming months:
Thursday 24th November – Open Channel at Bedroom Bar, London
Friday 25th November – The Waiting Room, London (supporting Wild Palms)
Tuesday 7th February – The Miller, London
Yours set out to make out intimate and electronic songs, which are produced and mixed by the duo, and capture the slow-building sense of anxiety and stasis they have found in adulthood; pitted against the unrewarding escapism of on demand viewing and the endless scroll of social media.
These songs confront the unease, not retreating from the gloom. Created over late nights and during lunch breaks, they were written quietly. Slowly. They act as a channel for their present day frustrations.
Intimate yet hopeful, Yours’ synthetic and organic instrumentation, hypnotic vocals and dance-led influences provide the soundtrack to both an escape from, and an celebration of the present.
Yours are London-based electronic two-piece, Joe Edwards and James Melaugh.
