Having just completed tours in Germany and Japan to great acclaim, transatlantic indie-pop quintet NIGHT FLOWERS announce new single, ‘Glow in the Dark’, due out onDirty Bingo Records on 15th July. The single will be available on a limited run of 300 glow in the dark 7″ vinyl (with free patch and bonus tracks), and digitally.

The band have also unveiled the new video for ‘Glow In The Dark‘, shot during their recent Japanese tour by friend, photographer and film maker Darren Topliss. The video was primarily shot in three continuous takes at 3am in Tokyo’s bustling Shibuya district.

The band say, “The video intends to capture Tokyo as a living, breathing and sleepless organism, and induce a feeling of jetlagged, punchdrunk euphoria, capturing the alien but beautiful environment and state of mind we found ourselves submerged in.” The result is a hazy, vibrant waking Tokyo dream. The song itself reflects on themes of distance and time, and the close bonds that are affected by neither. Watch it below…

It has been a whirlwind couple of years for Night Flowers since these close friends from North England collided with Boston, Massachusetts born vocalist Sophia Pettit in London and began forming their irresistible brand of heart stirring, romantic pop.
