Mt. Wolf have just shared the video for ‘Red’, the title track from this year’s new EP release. The guys have recently remixed their close mate Shura, and there’s now over half a million Soundcloud plays on the Red EP. Mt. Wolf will play a London Bush Hall headline on October 14, following a big sold-out comeback show at Cecil Sharp House earlier this year.
Mt. Wolf ended up hitting the self-destruct button in late ’13, just as they’d rounded out the previous 12 months as one of the most blogged about artists of the year, with Radio spins from Radio 1, XFM & 6Music plus a spot on the UK Blog Sound of 2014 list with the likes of Wolf Alice and Marika Hackman to boot. The wheels eventually came off not long after their rammed Heaven show, when vocalist Kate Sproule (now recording under the Bo Rocha moniker) announced her departure from Mt. Wolf to remaining bandmates Stevie, Bassi & Alex. The 3 guys then pursued other musical projects with a certain degree of frustration, though the response to recent new material has proven an apt vindication of Mt. Wolf’s reforming.
