“The Liverpool act join the ranks of Tame Impala-influenced psych hopefuls but land firmly in the upper echelons.” NME
“Dances with uncertainties before coming to one severe conclusion…capable of breaking down just about any boundary.” DIY
Immediately alluring.” Dots and Dashes
Hotly tipped Liverpool 5 piece play their first London show at the Old Blue Last on Thursday this week (5th Nov).  Live at the Old Blue last.   Gulf’s new demo Tell Me Again escaped onto the internet earlier this month, stoking the industry buzz, with acid washed psych pop.

Gulf arrive surfing a warm wave of kaleidoscopic pop. Last month they premiere the glistening early cut ‘Emitter’, gathering comparisons to Tame Impala, The Horrors and fellow Liverpudlians Outfit for their delicate spaced-out grooves.
Recorded with Darren Jones (The Maccabees, Bill Ryder Jones, Wombats) Gulf blend the sweet inflections of their disco and funk inspiration into a dreamy landscape of finely tuned melancholy and bright, swirling choruses.
“Being a five piece with three guitars, we find ourselves extensively exploring the arrangement and how different sounds compliment each other. We’re making music to satisfy our psychedelic urges…”
Gulf live dates:
20th NOVEMBER, LONDON, Karma Coma @ Old Blue Last
20th DECEMBER, SALFORD, Now Wave @The Kings Arms
