The Fauns unveil stunning
new video for latest single,’4am’

“Enticing, shimmering dreampop splendor with aplomb, with wraithlike singer Alison Garner floating beatifically above the Cocteaus-like title track…”  Q

“Their Music is a dreamy, droney rejuvenation of the 90’s Thames Valley Sound that reveres Chapterhouse’s ‘Whirlpool.'”  Uncut.

“The breathy vocals of Alison Garner are draped elegantly over walls of distorted guitars…”  The Times

“Just beneath the foggy surface is a knack for diminutive hooks and delightfully catchy guitar licks ..Lights poignantly highlights the genre’s inherently despondent atmospherics, lacing them with the hopeful, resounding call to arms of eager melody making.”  The Line of Best Fit

“… an album full of romance and yearning, hope and heartache, lust and shame.”  Louder Than War

Bristol shoe-gazing band, The Fauns unveil their new video ‘4am’ – the 3rd single taken from their second album Lights, which was released last December on Invada Records.  The video is directed by award winning film maker Tia Salisbury and features model, Kate Elson.  The emotive video is a tale of loss and resolution.

The video is Track of the Day on Q Magazine and premiered yesterday on Stereogum.

The Fauns have recently been touring Europe with French post-rockers Alcest.  The band will be playing Simple Things Festival, Bristol (with Mogwai / Caribou etc) on October 25th 2014.
