Surprise Attacks are one of Worcester’s best live promoters right now. Uniting their music scene by providing venues with the finest acts, touring musicians and big names in an alternative world. Basically we can’t fault the work ethics of SA! Their line-ups are insane and having hosted some great gigs already, they’ve got some unmissable shows lined up for the future.
Friday, August 8th The Firefly opened it’s doors for a sweaty night of abrasive noise. The line up consisted of local lovelies, and one of our favorite local bands right now, the effortlessly talented The Broken Oak Duet, followed by our friends in Alright The Captain– a rare UK date, the trio are regularly touring Europe and currently recording their new album, and headlining the night were the powerful, slightly deafening but incredible duo God Damn.
