Richmond, Virginia’s Fall Line Fest is excited to announce the addition of several bands to this year’s line-up, including Tombs, Protomarty, Gent & Jawns, Prests and many more who will join previously announced acts The Hold Steady, Death, Fairweather, Matthew E. White, and others (see below for full listing).

The second annual Fall Line Fest will take place this year on September 5th & 6th, 2014 throughout the city of Richmond, Virginia.  The festival focuses on music, art and food, aiming to showcase what it is exactly that gives Richmond its own unique charm while balancing both nationally-known names and homegrown talent, all within a walkable area of the city’s downtown.

Organizers of Fall Line Fest are also excited to announce more details on food and art events for the weekend.  Fall Line Brunch Fest Presented by Kroger will be held on Saturday, September 6th at The Broadberry from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.  Free and open to anyone with a Fall Line Fest wristband (first come, first served), the brunch will be buffet-style with signature dishes from eight of Richmond’s hottest young chefs. The bar will offer specials on brunch cocktails as well.  Additionally, there will be a juried art show at Gallery5 featuring Dr. Lisa Freiman, Director of the Institute for Contemporary Art, and three community-based public art displays within the footprint of the festival.

Advance passes for the weekend are now available for $30 for the weekend here.  There will be no individual show tickets.

Driven by an all-volunteer team drawing from a wealth of experience, Fall Line Fest truly exemplifies the rich, supportive character Richmond has come to embody in modern times, and is the ideal weekend to acquaint oneself to the city for locals and visitors alike.

Fall Line Fest has been generously sponsored by American Family Fitness, Reynolds Community College, HYPE, Pearson Mazda, Blanchard’s Coffee, Hardywood, Starr Hill, Mobelux, Verizon FIOS, Venture Richmond, Downtown Neighborhood Association, Dave and Buster’s, Kroger, and WDCE 90.1 FM, University of Richmond Radio.
