Inventions is the new duo of Matthew Cooper (Eluvium) and Mark T. Smith (Explosions In The Sky). Their self-titled debut album has already garnered much praise, finding interested ears beyond simply fans of their primary groups.  It is becoming clear that Inventions is a provocative, enchanting group that is not to be overlooked as merely a side-project.

For a limited time, Inventions are offering a stream of their entire album, featuring a detailed track-by-track guide from both members of the band via DrownedinSound.

Across eight songs the duo explore the delicate and disturbing – and virtually everything in-between – with majestic abandon. It’s the kind of beauty and brilliance that only masters of their craft can accomplish when all egos and expectations are cast aside in pursuit of the splendour of sound.
