MAKING MONSTERS
Set to release ‘Attention’ EP on 16th June via Death By Records
STREAM ‘Nosebleed’:

Making Monsters are a quartet of riff-mongers from Derry, Ireland. Having supported the likes of Young Guns, Max Raptor and Future of The Left off the back of their self-titled debut EP, they are now gearing up to release a new EP ‘Attention’ in June. You can check out a cut from the EP – ‘Nosebleed’ – here. The band will be heading out on the road over the summer with shows across Ireland and N. Ireland already announced. Stay tuned for additional dates.

Frontwoman Emma met the rest of the Making Monsters guys when she was 17 and the band have spent the last two years honing their craft and generally finding out who they are. Themes throughout the release are varied. ‘Limits’, for example, is about the loss of her Grandfather, with title track ‘Attention’ being a comical take on society’s view of Love and how it influences peoples’ perception and expectation of it. Throughout, it’s the quartet’s crucial grasp of balancing the aggressive with the melodic that shines through. A cutting edge of riffs and brutal vocals can give way to the most striking of melodies in a mere moment.
