New tour dates announced
“Perfecting a sharp, trashy take on garage-pop, the band live by an all-killer, no-filler ethos” Clash
“They’re young, but all their lights are on” Classic Rock
Glasgow based garage-rock trio Young Aviators are set to release their snarling new single ‘We’ve Got Names For Folk Like You’ on November 18th through Electric Honey Records (Biffy Clyro, Belle and Sebastian, Snow Patrol). Taken from the bands stellar debut album Self Help, the track is a scuzzy, burst of raw energy aimed squarely at the exploitative careerists of this world.
“’We’ve Got Names’ is a song that rejects mainstream culture and its obsession with personal gain,” says singer/guitarist Declan McKay. “A song that laments the self motivation at the heart of everything… a song for the corporate lizard men, f**king with humanity”.
The band have also announced a series of tour dates across Europe, including a Scottish tour with Travis and a sold-out European tour alongside one of Germany’s biggest indie bands Sportfreunde Stiller. The band will also play select headline dates in London and Glasgow.
Young Aviators are: Declan McKay – guitar / vocals, Kyle Haughey – bass / vocals, John Markey – drums / vocals
