The Cambridge indie scene is celebrating the release of the debut EP from hotly tipped 5-piece Forest this week. Their self-produced ‘Sweetcure EP’ is available on sea blue vinyl today via Tip Top Recordings, and as a thank you from the band, you can download ‘The Great Greens’ track on the band’s Facebook page today for free, and watch their new super-slomo video.

Inspired by great bands such as Dinosaur Jr, My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Teenage Fanclub and Sonic Youth to name a few, Forest’s debut, the ‘Sweetcure EP’, is made up from quality, feel-good, harmony-laden slacker-pop and is now being talked about in the UK and across the pond in the US as one of the best debut indie releases of 2013. The band are currently working on their second EP scheduled for release sometime in September alongside a countrywide tour.
